Wanda Nara's family reunion with Icardi under the spotlight

The family drama surrounding Mauro Icardi continues to generate headlines in the Argentine press. In recent days, his brother Guido Icardi made a gesture that many interpreted as a direct message to the footballer. The reason? A dinner gathering at Wanda Nara’s house that included other key figures involved in the drama surrounding the Galatasaray forward.

The dinner that sparked reactions

Guido Icardi went to Wanda Nara’s residence located in the Chateau Libertador building, where a select group of people gathered. In addition to spending time with his nieces Francesca and Isabella, the footballer’s brother shared the event with Maxi López, Martín Migueles (the current partner of the host), and Nora Colosimo (Wanda Nara’s mother).

Photos posted on social media show the attendees in relaxed moments: sharing mate in the living room, enjoying a casual meal with pizzas and empanadas. Guido Icardi documented the moment with an Instagram story where he wrote: “Getting to know my family,” a phrase that did not go unnoticed given the context of disagreements with Mauro Icardi.

Maxi López’s presence in particular drew attention, considering his conflicting relationship with the footballer. This coincidence led many observers to interpret the gathering as an implicit statement of positions in the family conflict.

Guido’s revelations about his brother

Moments before the dinner, Guido Icardi appeared on the TV program Intrusos, where he did not hesitate to expose the fractures characterizing his relationship with Mauro. “I know him very little and I think I totally don’t know him,” he stated firmly regarding the footballer. His comments revealed accumulated resentments and distances that have deepened over time.

Guido explained that the family breakup dates back to 2011, when their parents separated and Mauro began his career in Europe. While the footballer was building an international career, Guido chose to stay in Rosario with their father. “We might have seen each other at some Christmas, birthday, once when he was in Switzerland during a Champions League match. We haven’t talked much,” he clarified about the lack of ongoing contact.

According to Guido, Mauro Icardi has a dominant and authoritarian personality. “When he gets something in his head, he always wants things to be his way,” he characterized his nature. Guido also firmly denied the popular theory that Wanda Nara had changed his brother’s behavior. “Wanda didn’t change him. I believe that when he reaches fame and success, that’s when everyone shows who they really are,” he said.

The distancing and unresolved conflicts

Wanda Nara’s past accusations of violence were not ignored by Guido Icardi. However, he softened his stance: “My brother may be obsessive about his things, but I don’t think he would raise his hand against Wanda or have violent tendencies.” This statement reflects a complex reality where Guido recognizes issues in their coexistence without necessarily endorsing the more serious allegations.

Guido also revealed that he formally invited Mauro Icardi to his upcoming wedding, which will take place this year in Rosario. So far, he has not received any response from the footballer, who is currently in Turkey with María Eugenia “China” Suárez. Despite acknowledging that he has adapted to the physical and emotional separation, Guido expressed his hope that his brother would sign with Newell’s, his hometown team, thinking that closer geographical proximity might facilitate a family reconciliation.

The gathering at Wanda Nara’s house, beyond its public interpretation, shows that while Mauro Icardi remains absent from these dynamics, his family continues to build their own bonds without his participation.
