Gate derivatives hit a new high in February.
Gate’s derivatives business reached a record market share of 12.2 percent in February, marking the platform’s highest level to date and placing it among the fastest growing exchanges globally. At the same time, total derivatives trading volume climbed to around 500 billion dollars, representing a 5.9 percent month over month increase.
This growth stands out especially because overall trading activity across centralized exchanges showed mixed trends during the same period. Despite broader fluctuations in spot markets, derivatives trading continues to dominate crypto exchange activity, accounting for a major share of overall trading volume.
