$100 oil today sounds expensive.


But adjust for inflation and it’s roughly $63 in 2006.
In other words, oil at $100 today is about the same real price as mid-$60 oil 20 years ago.
Considering two decades of inflation, underinvestment in supply, and rising global energy demand…
Oil is still historically cheap.
