US House of Representatives to Hold Securities Tokenization Hearing
The U.S. House Committee on Financial Services will hold a hearing titled “Tokenization and the Future of Securities” on March 25, 2026, at 10:00 PM (UTC+8). The discussion will focus on the impact of security tokenization on capital markets, investor protection, and regulatory frameworks, as well as review legislative proposals requiring the SEC and CFTC to study tokenized markets. Witnesses include SIFMA President Kenneth Bentsen, Blockchain Association CEO Summer Mersinger, DTCC Deputy General Counsel Christian Sabella, Nasdaq Chief Legal and Compliance Officer John Zecca, and Plume Network General Counsel Salman Banaei.
