Golden Finance reported that on March 29, according to The Wall Street Journal, hundreds of thousands of protesters may take to the streets on Saturday local time to participate in the nationwide “No Kings” rally, protesting against U.S. President Trump. Organizers claim that Trump’s way of governing the country resembles that of a king rather than a president. This Saturday’s protest marks the third “No Monarch” rally in less than a year, coinciding with controversies surrounding the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the debate over deploying federal troops in cities across the U.S. Organizers stated this week that America’s involvement in the war with Iran is another factor driving protesters to the streets. Videos circulating on social media show protesters gathering on the beach in San Francisco, California, forming the slogan “Trump must resign immediately!”
