Analysts: Houthi forces' involvement in Middle East conflicts could become a key factor in the development of the situation
According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on March 29, the Houthi armed group announced that they had launched multiple ballistic missiles toward southern Israel. In response, analysts stated that this move signifies Yemen’s official entry as a new front in the current Middle Eastern conflict, and the regional situation may further escalate; the involvement of the Houthi armed group could become a key variable in the future development of the situation. Yemeni Houthi strategic military expert Abed said, “It is foreseeable that this will have a significant impact on the situation, especially since Israel is already struggling to endure a new round of conflict, particularly after the Houthis officially entered the war. We expect to face responses from Israel and even the United States, and if the U.S. takes action, we will strike all related targets, including ships.” Abed believes that with the opening of the Yemeni front, the security risks of key waterways such as the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait are increasing, and the spillover effects on the regional situation are becoming more and more apparent.
