Version 21.2 main features and improvements
According to the latest official and community information, this version does not introduce a large number of user-visible features. Instead, it focuses on infrastructure-level optimization and upgrades, laying the foundation for future development:
- Improving node stability and performance: Enhancing the operational efficiency of existing nodes to enable the network to handle higher traffic more smoothly (higher throughput, lower latency).
- Enhancing network scalability: Optimizing node synchronization mechanisms to ensure the entire mainnet remains consistent and stable as user numbers and transaction volumes grow.
- Paving the way for future features: Preparing for the launch of Pi DEX (Decentralized Exchange) to support on-chain liquidity.
- Enabling on-chain swaps between Pi and ecosystem tokens (such as PiUSD and other tokens).
