Mars Finance reports that, according to the National Price Bureau, starting from April 8, 2026, the domestic gasoline and diesel (benchmark products) prices will be increased by 420 yuan per ton and 400 yuan per ton, respectively. This adjustment is intended to respond to the significant volatility in international crude oil prices and to slow down the impact on the domestic market. The adjustment increase is lower than the amount that should be raised under the mechanism’s calculation (gasoline: 800 yuan/ton, diesel: 770 yuan/ton). PetroChina, Sinopec, CNOOC, and other crude oil refining companies will be responsible for organizing production and distribution to ensure stable market supply, and will strictly implement national pricing policies. Meanwhile, relevant local authorities will strengthen market supervision and severely crack down on price-violation conduct. Consumers can report price-related illegal activities through the 12315 platform.
