Mars Finance News: On April 11, at the 2026 Smart Electric Vehicle Development Summit, BYD Group’s Chief Scientist and Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Lian Yubo stated that, in the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, the new energy vehicle industry is entering a stage of both certainty and uncertainty. Among them, continuous policy support, ongoing deepening of consumer awareness, and the trend toward comprehensive electrification of the industry are the clear directions. The industry also faces: uncertainty in technological inflection points, requiring deep insights into user behavior habits and spatial needs for cutting-edge automotive technologies such as next-generation power batteries and intelligent chassis, to break out of traditional automotive engineering boundaries; uncertainty in industry boundaries, as vehicles shift from purely transportation tools with mobility attributes to multi-attribute integrated intelligent entities, vehicle-network interaction technology will make the vehicle’s energy attributes more diverse, and AI integration is expected to turn cars into units of AI distributed computing power. These will further test the system’s reliability, social acceptance, and regulatory adaptability, demanding comprehensive system capabilities. (Titanium Garage)
