Deep Tide TechFlow News: On April 13, the U.S. Central Command issued a notice stating that U.S. Central Command forces will begin implementing a maritime blockade of all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on April 13 (22:00 Beijing time today).

This blockade will be enforced without distinction against all vessels of all countries entering and exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. U.S. Central Command forces will not interfere with the freedom of navigation for vessels traveling to and from non-Iranian ports through the Strait of Hormuz.

Before the blockade begins, more information will be provided to commercial mariners through official notices. All mariners are advised to monitor the “Maritime Notice” broadcasts, and when operating in the Gulf of Oman and the entrance areas of the Strait of Hormuz, to contact U.S. Navy forces via Bridge-to-Bridge Channel 16.
