Steak 'n Shake became the first partner; its more than 10,000 hourly workers can earn $0.21 in Bitcoin per hour worked, with full vesting after two years. The program is operated by Fold’s Business division, handling all custody and compliance requirements, so that traditional companies can offer crypto incentives without having to manage technical infrastructure. Fold also plans to expand its enterprise services to payroll, corporate Bitcoin treasury management, company cards, and other tools.
