Putin: Russia will do its utmost to promote peace in the Middle East as soon as possible
Golden Finance reports that on April 28th, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi in Saint Petersburg and said that Russia will do its utmost to promote peace in the Middle East as soon as possible.
According to the Kremlin’s website, during the meeting, Putin stated that the Iranian people are fighting bravely for sovereignty and hopes that, with this courage, the Iranian people will overcome difficulties under the leadership of the new leaders and usher in peace.
Putin said he has received a message from Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei, and Russia will continue to develop strategic relations with Iran and do its best to safeguard the interests of Iran and other countries in the Middle East.
