#Could BTC break the $60K-$70K range soon? Effective April 30, 2024, as part of the annual credit limit extension, DTCC will implement the following changes to change the Collateral Value of certain securities, which may affect the value of positions applicable to Monitor Collateral, according to documents issued by DTCC (American Depository Trust and Settlement Corporation):
1. Collateral valuation of corporate notes or bonds rated B1 to B3 will be increased from 50% to 70%;
2. Any ETF or other investment vehicles that includes Bitcoin or other Crypto Assets as a base investment will not be given Collateral Value and will therefore be subject to a 100% deduction.
