Deep Tide TechFlow news, on January 10, according to Cointelegraph, Pump.fun co-founder Alon Cohen stated that the platform will comprehensively reform its creator fee system, as it believes the existing model may have distorted incentive mechanisms.

Cohen posted on the X platform admitting that the “Dynamic Fee V1 system” launched several months ago, while successfully driving activity, failed to generate sustainable market behavior. This mechanism encouraged low-risk token creation while sacrificing high-risk trading, which was described as “dangerous” because traders are the core source of platform liquidity and trading volume.

As the first phase of the reform, Pump.fun will introduce a creator fee-sharing feature that allows creators and communities to take over the administrator’s ability to allocate a specific percentage of fees to up to 10 wallets after launch. The team will also be able to transfer token ownership and revoke update permissions.
