According to a post released this evening (30th) on the X platform by on-chain analysis platform Bubblemaps, the platform token $LIT of the decentralized perpetual contract exchange Lighter has officially gone live for trading. At the same time, Lighter directly conducted a large-scale airdrop to early participants, with a total of 250 million $LIT tokens distributed. Based on current market prices, the total value is approximately 675 million USD.

Public data shows that Lighter, as a decentralized perpetual contract exchange (Perp DEX) based on Ethereum Layer 2, uses ZK technology to verify order matching and liquidation, and is considered a main competitor of Hyperliquid. This airdrop covers users from two seasons in 2025, with a total of about 12.5 million points. Each point corresponds to approximately 20 $LIT tokens. The airdropped tokens are unlocked and do not require manual claiming, being directly sent to users’ Lighter wallets.
