Crypto Political Action Committee Fairshake investiert 8,6 Millionen US-Dollar bei den Wahlen in Illinois

Gate News Nachrichten, am 10. März hat das von Ripple Labs und anderen Krypto-Unternehmen unterstützte politische Aktionskomitee Fairshake rund 8,6 Millionen US-Dollar in die Wahlen zum Kongress in Illinois investiert. Laut Unterlagen beim Federal Election Commission hat das Komitee über 5,5 Millionen US-Dollar ausgegeben, um gegen die Kandidatin Juliana Stratton, die stellvertretende Gouverneurin von Illinois, zu opponieren, und etwa 1,8 Millionen US-Dollar, um gegen den Abgeordneten La Shawn Ford zu kämpfen. Die verbundene Organisation Protect Progress investierte etwa 174.000 US-Dollar, um Nikki Budzinski und Robin Kelly zu unterstützen. Fairshake verfügt derzeit über 193 Millionen US-Dollar an Mitteln und hat deutlich gemacht, dass es bei den Wahlen 2026 “gegen antikryptowährungsfreundliche Politiker und für kryptowährungsfreundliche Führungspersönlichkeiten” eintreten wird.
