PANews reported on April 11 that decentralized GPU infrastructure startup GPU.net announced on the X platform that it has completed a $5.25 million Series A financing, with participation from Momentum 6, Spicy Capital, Exnetwork Capital, BlackDragon, Zephyrus Capital, Aza Enterprises, Crypto Banter, and Fusion7 Venture Capital, Halvings Capital, BIGGER THAN RACE, and individual investors Alex Becker and EllioTrades. The new funding will accelerate the development of a global-scale computing grid and will be powered by a proprietary Layer1 GANchain with proof of computation. According to reports, the GPU.net aims to build a transparent and comprehensive computing ledger, namely the Layer1 network GANchain and the open source computing stack, which has met the growing demand for GPU computing, and it is currently ensuring 20% of the global GPU supply (i.e., 5 million units) by 2030, and realizing the decentralization of computing resources in the field dominated by science and technology organizations. This initiative will reallocate computing resources, promote equitable access, and drive innovation in areas such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and more.

Odaily Daily News LSDFi protocol Hydro Protocol announced the completion of a new round of financing. The amount of financing was not disclosed, with participation from Injective, Vessel Capital, Moonhill Capital, SkyVision Capital, Exnetwork Capital, Quantstamp, BlackDragon, Trinito, verse2, PAKA, coinseeker.co, CSP DAO, ODIG, DoraHacks, and others.
