Metis launches integrated ecosystem construction,全面优化Token economic model to promote collaborative development of ecological projects.

On October 29, Metis announced the launch of an integrated strategic upgrade for its ecosystem, incorporating the settlement layer Andromeda, the high-performance computing layer Hyperion, the AI application layer LazAI, the zero-knowledge proof layer ZKM, and the Bitcoin L2 exploration layer GOAT into a unified architecture to promote collaborative development among ecosystems, marking its transition from a layered construction phase to a new cycle of ecological interaction. According to the official governance proposal, Metis will optimize its token economic model through three key mechanisms: 1. Establishing METIS as the native Gas token of the LazAI network, where all AI reasoning and on-chain computations will consume METIS; 2. Reducing the mining reward rate for decentralized sequencers (DSeq) to 15%, enhancing economic sustainability; 3. Setting up an ecological growth reserve (EAGR) accounting for 20% of the total supply, to be used for validator incentives, liquidity support, and cross-layer collaborative construction. The proposal does not change the total token supply cap; EAGR will be released in phases as needed, and the overall implementation will occur approximately four weeks after community voting approval. This adjustment aims to strengthen the long-term value foundation of METIS by enhancing practicality and optimizing the distribution mechanism without increasing token issuance. Community voting will start on October 30 at 1:00 PM (Beijing time) on the Snapshot platform and will end on November 3. Metis invites global community members to participate in this ecological evolution, with specific participation methods to be announced soon.
