Powell: There will be reason to slow the pace of rate cuts if there is no new information.

On October 30, Fed Chairman Powell stated: If no new information is obtained and economic conditions appear unchanged, there will be reason to slow the pace of rate cuts. I hope we can obtain more sufficient data by December. The lack of data during the government shutdown may indicate that we should slow down policy adjustments. It is uncertain how long the debate over slowing rate cuts in December will last. ( Jin10 )
