This proactive measure closes potential risks and fully secures all security-related bridging parameters. Specific changes include: locking the LayerZero message sending/receiving library, locking the DVN set and increasing the threshold to 4/4, tightening the pair rate limits on owned bridging contracts. After the changes, LayerZero's multi-signature cannot modify the weETH bridge configuration on-chain, and each inbound message must be verified by all 4 DVNs. Next, an evaluation will be conducted on introducing a second independent cross-chain stack outside LayerZero, along with a systematic risk assessment of all chains hosting weETH.
