#比特币ETF期权持仓限额增4倍 The U.S. SEC has approved the Nasdaq ISE proposal, significantly increasing the holdings and exercise rights for BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) options from 250k shares to 1 million shares, a fourfold increase.
Regulators believe that IBIT has sufficient liquidity and market size, and that raising the limit will not increase manipulation risks. Instead, it can be on the same level as major stock indices and individual stock options like Apple and Nvidia. This move directly responds to the surge in institutional hedging and trading demands, as the previous cap hindered large investors and market makers from executing large-scale hedges, arbitrage, and structured strategies.
The increased limit is expected to significantly enhance derivatives market depth, narrow bid-ask spreads, improve pricing efficiency, and potentially help stabilize volatility through scaled covered call strategies, attracting more long-term capital into the Bitcoin spot market.
