$ASML is preparing a major EUV production ramp in 2026 as AI chip demand keeps pushing advanced semiconductor capacity higher
The company expects to build at least 60 EUV systems in 2026, up from 48 in 2025, with future capacity planned to reach at least 80 systems per year
➡️ SK Hynix placed a massive order worth around $8 billion for EUV tools, mainly to support next-generation DRAM and HBM production
➡️ Samsung reportedly ordered around 20 EUV systems worth more than $7 billion for its Pyeongtaek P5 fab, also focused on advanced DRAM
➡️ TSMC is pushing 2026 capex toward the high end of its $52 billion to $56 billion range, with most of that spending going into advanced process technologies
ASML’s Q1 2026 delivered €8.8 billion in net sales, 53% gross margin, and €2.8 billion in net income. EUV alone generated more than €4.1 billion in revenue, including two High-NA systems
Management also raised 2026 revenue guidance to €36 billion to €40 billion, which implies roughly 16% growth at the midpoint
