Ripple's $1.25 billion acquisition of Hidden Road launches an over-the-counter Crypto Assets swap product in the US.

Gate News bot news, Ripple’s newly acquired major broker Hidden Road has announced the launch of a new OTC Trading crypto assets swap product aimed at institutional investors in the United States.

This service allows US institutions to privately trade cash-settled Crypto Assets swap products. These trades are conducted via OTC Trading, thereby reducing market impact and providing greater flexibility for large transactions.

This product will be provided by Hidden Road Partners CIV UK Ltd., which is regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

In addition to the new swap features, the company will also offer cross-margin and financing services for digital assets.

Previously, Ripple announced in April 2025 the acquisition of Hidden Road for $1.25 billion, which is still pending regulatory approval. Upon completion of the transaction, Ripple will become the first Crypto Assets company to fully own and operate a global multi-asset prime brokerage platform.
