März zeigen Daten von DefiLlama, dass bei etwa 1300 DeFi-Projekten bis zu 97,6 % keine signifikanten Gewinne erzielen konnten, wobei die Einkommensverteilung ein deutliches Power-Law-Muster aufweist. In den letzten 30 Tagen haben nur 32 Projekte (2,4 % der Gesamtzahl) Einnahmen von über 2 Millionen US-Dollar erzielt. Konkret dominieren Stablecoin-Emittenten und Handelsplattformen die Einkommensrangliste, wobei Tether 490 Millionen US-Dollar, Circle 201 Millionen US-Dollar und Hyperliquid 61 Millionen US-Dollar einnahmen. Außerdem liegen nur 6 Protokolle mit Einnahmen zwischen 10 und 50 Millionen US-Dollar. Bei Verlusten verzeichnete das MEV-Protokoll Kairos Timeboost einen Verlust von etwa 200.000 US-Dollar, die Optionsplattform Hegic etwa 23.000 US-Dollar.
