19:00 Night Thoughts
The current market for ETH is performing quite well, within the expected range. The short positions have also taken profits. After some adjustments and reflections, I no longer have thoughts of slapping my thigh or anything like that.
The current market situation is as shown in the picture. My personal judgment is as follows: attention needs to be paid to the news at 8:30 PM and at 9:30 PM for the US market. The strong resistance is in the range of 4480-90, and if it does not break through and stabilize, there will be no reversal. Similarly, if it stabilizes and breaks through, one needs to be cautious in trading or adjust their trading strategy. The first support level is at 4320, with strong support around 4280, but situations with wicks are not considered.
Therefore, the trading strategy at night focuses on opportunities to short on rebounds. There are two short positions: the first around 4410, and the second is around 4440-60, depending on whether the opportunity arises. Those with larger positions can manage their positions in batches. The risk-reward ratio and space are quite suitable. Personally, I do not consider going long, as it is against the current trend. Short-term and ultra-short-term trades are not within the scope of consideration, after all, the market is a process of ups and downs. Clearly define the trading cycle and set stop-losses; you can trade in any way as long as you take a portion.
Let’s stick with Bitcoin for now. Its volatility is not as good as Ethereum, but it is a relatively strong asset. If we don’t consider trading it, the low volatility means we can follow the original plan and check the strategies and take-profit levels this afternoon. Although Bitcoin has low volatility, it is relatively stable, making it suitable for those seeking stability. Compared to Ethereum, under the same leverage and margin, the losses and profits won't be significant.
Having a little more patience won't do any harm.
