Many people get increasingly dizzy in the crypto market, with strategies more complicated than anyone else's, yet their account balances keep going down. My approach is a bit different — starting from 30,000 yuan and growing to four or five million, not relying on so-called insider information or any special talent, but just understanding things thoroughly and repeating what works.
I've walked this path in three phases. The first two years were the most painful, with the principal growing from 30,000 to 1.2 million, mainly holding ZEC. The second phase was noticeably faster, with the account rising from 1.2 million to 6 million in a year, thanks a lot to the LUNC rally. The final sprint was even more aggressive, going from 6 million to over 10 million in just five months.
The more I progress, the clearer a truth becomes: frequent trading and returns are basically inversely related. When you get itchy to trade, you lose; patience tends to earn more.
My trading system is very simple — focus on one pattern: the N-shape structure. Price first surges vertically, then retraces at an angle, and finally breaks through the previous high again. Enter the market when the pattern completes; cut losses and exit when it breaks. Never add positions to hold through losses, and never use leverage. Set a stop-loss at 2% and a take-profit at 10%. Even with a win rate of only 35%, this rule set can keep the account growing steadily.
I handle the profits in batches. When the account hits 1.2 million, I withdraw the principal to secure gains. When it reaches 6 million, I take half and invest in funds and fixed-income products, while the rest continues to roll in the market. Even if the market suddenly reverses, at least the core holdings remain, and my mindset stays intact.
I set three strict rules for myself: First, never chase the rise; wait until the pattern fully forms before acting. Second, never hold through a breakdown; get out once the level breaks—no illusions. Third, never fight the trend; take profits at the target and withdraw, don’t expect to catch every wave.
Stop always looking for the next 100x coin. If you can consistently capture 10% profits 20 times in a row, you'll realize that turning small funds into tens of millions is really just a matter of time and discipline.
I've been through all the pits in this market over the years. Now, putting these experiences out there, whether you can stand firm in the market depends on yourself.
