That's true, but the true key is the liquidity depth of the leading tokens. I've seen many data points showing that once the liquidity gap of the leading cryptocurrencies exceeds 3%, the follower coins tend to follow suit and dump their holdings within minutes. The arbitrage opportunity disappears instantly, and slippage can wipe out all the profits.
