Just came across some newly unearthed Bitcoin mascot designs from the early days. Wild stuff, honestly.

These vintage attempts at giving BTC a face are... quite something. You can tell it was a different era. The community was still figuring out its identity, experimenting with visual representations that now feel almost alien.

Funny how these relics hit different when you're actually tired though. What seemed exciting at first glance turned into a bit of a "yikes" moment the longer I looked. That's nostalgia for you – equal parts fascinating and uncomfortable.

I just want to ask, why haven't these things become popular yet? Damn, their aesthetic is just incredible now. People back then really dared to do anything. Early communities were like that, daring to try everything. Now everything is overly regulated. Staring at it for a while gives a creepy feeling. That’s probably the sense of nostalgia. If it weren’t for these old things, we’d forget that Bitcoin also had a time when it was this "wild."

Ha, I've seen these things back in 2011. I even bought a bunch of peripherals hoping they would appreciate in value, but now they're all electronic waste.

Haha, still thinking of putting a mascot on Bitcoin? That idea is a bit out there. Early on, people really dared to imagine... But this retro style does look a bit strange now. The more I look at these things, the more I feel something's off, an indescribable feeling. Oh my god, this aesthetic might have been okay back then, but now it's a bit creepy. Does Bitcoin need a virtual avatar? I don't think it's necessary; it actually makes it look cheap. This nostalgic feeling is a bit overwhelming, both refreshing and off-putting.

Damn, these early designs are really the "ChaoMaTe aesthetic" of the crypto world. They gave me goosebumps just looking at them. Watching it with a smile, it starts to get a bit creepy, right? That's what nostalgia costs. Back in the early community days, we dared to try everything. Now it looks like a nightmare material library. If these were released now, they'd probably get torn apart. Bitcoin was still in the "exploring identity" stage back then. Thinking about it now, it's quite adorable... Actually, not really, it's still a bit scary.

I'm a veteran in the Web3 community, and these vintage designs really struck a chord with me... The innocence of that era is truly hard to find now. People forget that BTC originally grew in such a wild and untamed way, and now it seems "scary" haha... The timeline is really interesting. It's only been a few years, and it's already considered an antique, full of nostalgia. The early pioneers were really brave in their ideas. Now that the community is so serious, it’s a bit boring... Seeing these makes me think of how naive I was back in the day, but it was that kind of crazy spirit that got us here today. This stuff is like old photos— the more you look, the stranger and more charming it becomes.

Haha, these things are really a bit creepy. They somehow feel like relics from a parallel universe. Was this the taste of early communities? It does seem a bit strange now. That's why brand design is completely different now; back then, we really had a lot of guts. The more I look at it, the more something feels off, but I just can't stop flipping. This aesthetic time gap is insane. Luckily, it was changed later on.
