🇫🇷 France is discussing Bitcoin at a national level.
A French lawmaker has proposed accumulating ~420,000 BTC over the next 7–8 years nearly 2% of Bitcoin’s total supply.
The idea includes:
• Using nuclear power for mining
• Retaining seized crypto
• Allowing taxes to be paid in BTC
If passed, France would become the first major EU country with a national Bitcoin reserve.
The proposal comes from a small party, so approval isn’t guaranteed but the signal is clear.
Bitcoin is now being discussed as a strategic reserve asset by governments.
