In the Gate v8.0.5 update, "handy" has finally been regarded as a core metric.
I just updated to Gate v8.0.5, and my first impression is not that there are many fancy features, but rather one word: smooth. This smoothness is not a visual stimulus, but rather a noticeable reduction in resistance during continuous operations. From the homepage to market data, then to trading and assets, the transitions are more coherent and hardly interrupt my train of thought.
The new version focuses more on structural organization rather than stacking features in terms of functional highlights and optimizations. The placement of commonly used modules is more reasonable, and the information density is better controlled, allowing both new and old users to quickly find core functions.
The smoothness of operation is the most intuitive improvement in this update. Market refresh, page loading, and order feedback are all more stable, and the usability remains high even under average network conditions.
In terms of trading and market experience, K-line loads faster, the refresh rhythm of the order book and transaction records is more natural, and there is no anxiety when monitoring the market.
One of my favorite updates is that the overall interaction path has been compressed, allowing the same operation to be completed with fewer clicks.
On the Gate square side, the loading speed and scrolling experience have significantly improved, making content reading feel more like "casual browsing" rather than task-oriented browsing.
Overall rating: 80 points.
It is suggested to increase more customization capabilities for the homepage modules and market layout in the future.
