El Salvador has added 1,511 BTC this year, with total reserves surpassing 7,500 BTC
【Blockchain Movement】Here’s an interesting data point: El Salvador has been continuously increasing its Bitcoin holdings since January 1st of this year. As of December 28th, the country has added 1,511 BTC.
Currently, El Salvador’s total BTC reserve has reached 7,514.37 BTC. Based on the current price, this asset scale is close to $660 million. What does this mean? It indicates that the country’s strategic bet on Bitcoin has remained unwavering, even increasing during market fluctuations.
From the perspective of the annual accumulation pace, El Salvador clearly treats BTC as an important national asset allocation. This sustained large-scale buying also, to some extent, reflects the growing status of Bitcoin in national fiscal reserves.
