People often say that the core logic of different businesses is actually the same—honestly, this kind of view sounds lofty, but it’s basically useless. At best, it can serve as a conversation starter or a brain teaser, but it doesn’t translate into practical operations.

Take a few projects as examples. WeWork and NeoCloud both seem to have a carry-based business model, but how exactly do they operate, how do they make profits, and how do they break through growth bottlenecks? The differences are huge. Similar logic on paper, but the actual implementation is completely different. To truly understand a business, you need to start from specific details like market environment, user needs, and cost structure. You can’t just stay at the level of “underlying logic is the same” as an empty assertion.

The theoretical logic on paper is indeed different from actual operation, which is why those "套路论" (套路 theories) are just superficial and end there after hearing them.
