Recently, security experts revealed that the well-known hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has experienced another customer data breach. This time, the issue stems from their payment processing partner Global-e, where users' personal information (including names, email addresses, and other contact details) was leaked.
Many users have already received related notification emails, and screenshots have been circulated within the community. This incident has caused quite a stir in the crypto circle, with everyone sharing and discussing this security alert.
Honestly, Ledger's series of security incidents have indeed raised some concerns. Although the previous NPM supply chain incident had limited impact, this data breach involving users' real identity information makes the problem much more serious. For users, besides considering the safety of their assets, they also need to be cautious about the risk of personal information being misused.
If you are a Ledger user, be especially vigilant for any suspicious emails or calls, as leaked personal information often becomes targets for scammers. Don't wait for official notifications—proactively change your passwords and enable two-factor authentication to maintain basic security measures.
