The Zcash market tells an interesting story. Those who profited early from $ZEC often become its most vocal advocates, calling it a major win. Meanwhile, those who missed gains or took losses? They've found plenty of reasons to criticize it—sometimes with real points, sometimes just frustration. Funny how that works. Neither camp has a monopoly on truth here. Every investor enters at different times, with different strategies, different risk tolerances. What matters more than joining the chorus is doing your own analysis. Check the fundamentals. Understand the tech. Track the adoption metrics. Don't let other people's gains (or losses) do your thinking for you. That's how you actually build conviction in any asset.

Honestly, don't believe everything either the people making money or the people losing money say; it's all about their own perspectives.

Honestly, early investors and those who got trapped later keep complaining about each other. This kind of routine is seen too often in the crypto world. The ones making money talk the most, while those losing money complain the most, but none of this is new. The key is to do your own research and not be led by others. Once I followed the trend and suffered a huge loss, I will never believe the "big V says it will rise, so it rises" approach again. As for the ZEC matter, everyone has their own opinion. I still prefer to look at the data.

In plain terms, this is a case of failed incentive mechanism design. Winners and losers each take sides, which is essentially caused by information asymmetry. The real issue is not about who is right, but rather that the market lacks an effective consensus mechanism to filter out noise. The idea of DYOR sounds reasonable, but most people simply don't have the ability to perform in-depth analysis.

Honestly, those who make money boast, and those who lose money criticize—that's the eternal truth of the crypto world haha

At the end of the day, it's still about information asymmetry. Those who enter early have more say, and the logic of cutting leeks never changes.
