Recently, I have been delving into the development direction of the AI Agent ecosystem, and I increasingly feel that there is a question worth pondering: when AI completely breaks down the cost barrier of knowledge acquisition, and can even replace the vast majority of mental work, what will the traditional industry that has lasted for thousands of years—education—ultimately evolve into?
This is not alarmist. From search to content to knowledge extraction, AI's efficiency has already surpassed traditional models. The workflow layer is also being reshaped—document processing, data analysis, and even creative output, agents can handle all of them. So the question is: what is left of the core competitive advantage of educational value?
Maybe it’s thinking training? Maybe it’s value system shaping? Perhaps education will evolve into something more scarce—such as personalized enlightenment, stimulation of creative thinking, or simply life guidance.
This cycle of transformation may be faster than we imagine. It is worth observing that those Web3 projects and AI innovation teams that first captured this wave of change are now paving the way for the entire industry.
