The mysterious investor known as “7 Siblings” has solidified its position as one of the largest accumulators of Ethereum, with a portfolio totaling 252,000 ETH worth over $800 million. This achievement places the siblings group above the Ethereum Foundation in terms of institutional holdings.
A Sustained Accumulation Strategy
Since October 2024, the “7 Siblings” entity has systematically purchased 48,588.72 ETH at an average price of $3,479, spending approximately $169 million. This strategic accumulation reflects sustained confidence in the asset, while the total historical cost of acquiring their entire portfolio remains undisclosed publicly.
Implications for Ethereum Concentration
With 264.5 million active holding addresses on the Ethereum network, the top 10 holders account for 71.80% of the total concentration. In this context, the role of 7 Siblings as the fifth-largest institutional holder underscores the importance that entities of this caliber have in the liquidity and price dynamics of the ETH market.
