Zama is preparing to list the token in April 2026: what you need to know about the mainnet launch on Ethereum
The cryptographic protocol ecosystem has received new development after Zama announced the full launch of its mainnet on Ethereum. The event, which took place on December 30, 2025, marked the completion of a key development phase of the platform, which uses fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) for data encryption directly on the chain.
Technological Breakthrough: What Happened on Ethereum
The main achievement of the launch is the successful transfer of cUSDT using FHE technology. This solution demonstrates how the protocol can process confidential operations without revealing user data. Such an approach opens new possibilities for private transactions and information protection in a decentralized environment.
Development Timeline in 2026: Token on the Horizon
Zama has already set a timeline for the next phases. Token generation is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026, and the ZAMA token listing is expected in April 2026. The total issuance will amount to 11 billion units, which will be used to pay protocol fees and compensate network operators.
Expansion to Other Networks: Plans for 2026
In the first half of 2026, the project intends to expand support for EVM-compatible blockchains to reach a broader developer audience. The second half of the year will be dedicated to integration with Solana, allowing Zama to strengthen its presence beyond the Ethereum ecosystem. This multi-chain strategy reflects the protocol’s ambition to become a cross-chain solution for confidential computations.
