On March 1st, Aave founder Stani.eth announced that the temperature check for the “Aave Will Win” proposal has passed. This brings Aave Labs closer to a fully token-centric model, directing 100% of product revenue to the AAVE token. The next step is to make structural optimizations based on community feedback and refine the proposal to enter the ARFC stage. Previously, on February 13th, Aave Labs released a new governance proposal outlining Aave’s next strategic framework, proposing to establish Aave V4 as the core technological foundation for the protocol’s future development, and to allocate 100% of revenue generated from all Aave branded products to the Aave DAO treasury. The proposal also includes establishing a sustainable development budget mechanism, creating a funding framework to support strategic growth and development for the DAO, and developing brand protection plans (including dedicated structures for holding and managing the Aave trademark).
