Japanese Foreign Minister Participates in G7 Foreign Ministers' Teleconference to Exchange Information on Iran Situation

Japanese Foreign Minister Tetsuro Mogi participated in a G7 foreign ministers’ teleconference, sharing information and exchanging views with other countries. The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this on the 1st. During the meeting, the U.S. side outlined the latest developments and future prospects. Tetsuro Mogi reiterated Japan’s position that Iran’s development of nuclear weapons is unacceptable, and Japan has consistently supported the United States’ efforts to resolve the issue through dialogue.
