In response, Alibaba stated, “The free order and milk tea giveaway event is extremely popular. We are urgently adding resources to ensure smooth operation.”
It is reported that within less than three hours of the event launch, the Qianwen app had processed over 1 million milk tea orders.
This year’s Spring Festival AI battle is highly intense. The Qianwen 3 Billion Free Order event during the Spring Festival is the largest investment in Alibaba’s history for a Spring Festival activity and the highest in the company’s AI battle during the holiday.
Earlier, on January 15th, the Qianwen app integrated with Taobao Flash Sale, Alipay, Taobao, Fliggy, and Amapo within Alibaba’s ecosystem, launching AI shopping features.
