Tech News from Phoenix Net: On February 24, OPPO ColorOS Design Director Chen Xi posted a rant about Apple’s latest flagship iPhone 17 Pro.
He stated that when the company’s iPhone was being returned today to activate the device and check the IMEI, it got stuck at various stages: in the written and spoken language setup phase, the interface kept loading, and the operation buttons appeared disabled, preventing progress. During the six-digit password setup, the buttons showed as available but responded with no action when clicked, causing the process to freeze. Near the iCloud account login phase, when using a nearby logged-in device to activate, if the logged-in iPhone unexpectedly exited the process, the current device to be activated would become completely stuck, requiring a restart to try again. During the iPad password verification step, when using an old iPad, clicking “Forgot Password” caused the interface to freeze immediately.
He also said, “It’s shocking that this is the level of Apple’s latest flagship iPhone 17 Pro. It’s not just the booting process; various daily glitches after entering are countless. They’ve completely stopped paying attention. I think something must have changed inside the company.”
