Institutions: Industrial silicon supply remains tight this week, continuing to confirm demand weakness and restrain the rebound

This week, the industrial silicon market continued to experience a “weak supply and demand” fundamental situation, with prices fluctuating amid the tug-of-war between supply contraction and weak demand. Due to weak macro sentiment and sluggish spot market follow-up, futures prices further declined. As of February 11, the main contract 2605 closed at 8,370 yuan/ton, down a total of 235 yuan/ton. The spot market remains largely stagnant, with prices holding steady overall. According to Antaike’s February 11 spot price statistics, the nationwide industrial silicon composite price remained at 9,245 yuan/ton, unchanged from last week. In terms of specifications, 553#报价稳定在8713元/吨，441# prices held steady at 9,169 yuan/ton. Regionally, prices in Xinjiang, Yunnan, and Sichuan were 8,810 yuan/ton, 10,005 yuan/ton, and 10,050 yuan/ton, respectively, with no significant changes in the price system. FOB export prices also remained unchanged from last week.
