China Tianying announced that its controlling subsidiary, Hanoi Tianyu Environmental Energy Co., Ltd., recently received the “Investment Proposal Change Approval” issued by the Hanoi City People’s Committee of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The approval is for the investment expansion of the second phase of the Hanoi Shuo Mountain Waste-to-Energy Plant project, with an expanded capacity of 1,600 tons/day and an electricity generation capacity of 45MW. The total investment in the project is 58.3 trillion VND (approximately $220 million USD), of which the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Firion Investments SL, and Europe Tianying Co., Ltd. contributed 1.166 trillion VND (about $44 million USD), with the remaining financed through project loans.
