President Awards State Honors To Representatives Of Global Ukrainian Community
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) That is according to a statement posted on the website of the Ukrainian World Congress, Ukrinform reports.
The state awards were granted in recognition of their outstanding personal contributions to strengthening international cooperation, steadfast support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and active humanitarian and charitable work on the global stage.
The Ukrainian World Congress noted that these state awards symbolize Ukraine’s deep gratitude to its ambassadors abroad.
“The work of these leaders not only amplifies Ukraine’s voice on the international stage but also strengthens connections between nations, building a solid foundation of global support that is crucial for protecting Ukrainian independence,” the statement said.

Recipients among diaspora representatives:
Among the honorees receiving the Order of Merit, III Class, are leaders from three continents: Guto Pasko, film director, producer, and co-founder of GP7 Cinema in Brazil; Petro Rewko, Chair of the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain; and Mirosław Skorka, Chair of the Association of Ukrainians in Poland.
Viktoria Petrovszka, Chair of the Ukrainian Association Unity in Hungary, received the Order of Princess Olha, II Class. The Order of Princess Olha, III Class, was awarded to Mariia Khrystyna Zinko, Vice President of the Ukrainian Central Representation in Argentina, and Daria Russu, journalist at TV channel Moldova 1 and Head of the Ukrainian Culture and Arts Association Ptashka in Moldova.
Ihor Michalchyshyn, former Executive Director of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, received the Cross of Ivan Mazepa, a presidential award honoring his long-standing efforts to strengthen Ukrainian solidarity across North America.
“The Ukrainian World Congress warmly congratulates the awardees and thanks them for their tireless dedication to the Ukrainian people and for advancing the global Ukrainian community,” the statement said.
