Zheng Shanjie: Will establish a national-level merger and acquisition fund

Cailian Press, March 6 — Zheng Shanjie, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated at the press conference on the economic topics of the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress on March 6 that this year, the commission will work with the Ministry of Finance, the People’s Bank of China, and other departments to establish a national-level merger and acquisition fund. This aims to further facilitate exit channels for venture capital, improve the efficiency of entrepreneurial capital turnover, and is expected to mobilize and leverage various funds exceeding 1 trillion yuan.
