Xiaomi Launches China’s First Mobile Lobster
According to TechCrunch, Xiaomi has released a mobile agent product called “Xiaomi miclaw.”
Xiaomi’s technical team stated: “Based on Xiaomi’s MiMo large model, the AI interaction testing product Xiaomi miclaw officially begins limited testing today. Compared to traditional AI assistants, Xiaomi miclaw has four levels of capabilities: system core abilities, personal context understanding, ecosystem connectivity, and self-evolution. Xiaomi miclaw is a small step in our exploration of agents. This limited test is invitation-only and not open for recruitment, supporting the Xiaomi 17 series devices in the first batch.”
OpenAI Releases GPT-5.4 and GPT-5.4Pro Models
On March 5, OpenAI officially launched GPT-5.4, featuring a “Thinking” mode, available on ChatGPT, API, and Codex platforms, along with the GPT-5.4Pro version for ChatGPT and API users.
OpenAI stated that GPT-5.4 not only inherits the coding capabilities of GPT-5.3-Codex but also optimizes the model’s collaborative performance across various tools, software environments, and professional tasks. In ChatGPT, GPT-5.4Thinking can now display its reasoning process in advance, allowing users to adjust the direction in real-time during system processing; GPT-5.4Thinking also enhances deep network search capabilities. On March 5, sources familiar with the matter revealed that Wu Changzheng, the former Chief Technology Officer of humanoid robot company Magic Atom, has left the company and is now starting his own venture. Star Motion Era Announces 1 Billion RMB Funding
On the morning of March 5, it was announced that embodied intelligence company Star Motion Era has recently completed a strategic round of financing totaling 1 billion RMB, with a valuation exceeding 10 billion RMB. Ant Group’s Digital Science Releases Embodied Intelligence Real Data Collection Framework

Developed by the Ant Group Tianji Laboratory team, the AoE (Always-On Egocentric) continuous first-person video collection framework proposes a lightweight and low-cost embodied data collection solution. Using just a smartphone and a neck-mounted support costing less than $20, it can replace professional equipment worth tens of thousands of dollars, enabling high-quality embodied intelligence data collection. Currently, this technical paper has been published on Arxiv.
