The United States and India issued a joint statement on trade agreements, with both countries agreeing to provide each other with preferential market access. The U.S. will impose an 18% “reciprocal” tariff on Indian goods, and the U.S. will eliminate tariffs on specific aircraft and parts supplied by India.
