Iranian naval forces launched a missile at the American aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, the Iranian army announced, according to Fars.
Tehran has repeatedly stated that missiles were launched at this aircraft carrier after the start of the US and Israel operations. On March 2, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that Abraham Lincoln left its position after the attacks and headed southeast in the Indian Ocean. The day before, on March 5, Press TV reported a successful attack on this aircraft carrier by Iranian drones, after which, according to the statement, the strike group also changed its position.
The US denied Iran's claims and reported that the ship had not sustained any damage.
