2026 Jiangsu Good Vocational Colleges | Taizhou Vocational and Technical College: 32 Popular Majors Enroll 1,462 Students
Admission Code: 1431
Note: Specific majors and enrollment plans are subject to approval by the provincial admissions authority.
Taizhou Vocational and Technical College is one of the first 14 full-time higher vocational colleges in the country. It is the first public institution in Jiangsu Province to be named a “Vocational and Technical College.” With a 68-year history, the school has a deep educational foundation. It is a construction unit of high-level vocational colleges with Chinese characteristics in Jiangsu Province, a provincial model higher vocational college, and a pilot institution for key elements of education and teaching evaluation by the Ministry of Education. The 2026 early admission program closely aligns with regional economic development needs, offering 32 majors across 7 colleges, with 1,462 enrollment plans. The professional layout precisely matches industry needs, with ample plans in popular fields.
【Eligibility and Conditions for Application】
Applicants must have participated in the 2026 national unified college entrance examination within Jiangsu Province and obtained qualifying scores in the 10 subjects organized by the Provincial Education Examination Authority: Chinese, Mathematics, Foreign Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Ideological and Political Education, History, Geography, and Information Technology.
For general majors, applicants must have at least 7 qualifying subjects;
For art majors, applicants must have at least 5 qualifying subjects and also possess the corresponding provincial art examination scores;
Applicants for Nursing, Midwifery, Rehabilitation Therapy Technology, Pharmacy, and Stomatology Technology must have no color blindness or color weakness. It is recommended that females apply for Midwifery; applicants for Environmental Art Design, Digital Media Art Design, and Advertising Art Design must have no color blindness.
【Assessment and Score Composition】
The cultural quality school test is conducted via written exam, mainly covering Chinese, Mathematics, and Foreign Language (English or Japanese), including vocational adaptability testing. The exams are organized, set, and graded uniformly by the school, with a total score of 300 points. English and Japanese exams are scheduled according to the language chosen for the college entrance exam; other languages are uniformly arranged in English. The exam will be held on the morning of March 28, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00.
For general majors: Total score = Cultural school test score + Provincial qualifying exam score + Policy bonus points;
For art majors: Total score = Cultural school test score + Provincial art exam score + Provincial qualifying exam score + Policy bonus points. Applicants must have the corresponding provincial art exam scores.
【Admission Rules】
Scores are categorized and prioritized, following applicants’ preferences. Based on exam scores and major preferences, students are ranked from highest to lowest and assigned to majors accordingly. If all preferred majors are full, students who agree to be transferred to other unfilled majors may be transferred; those who do not agree will be considered withdrawn. Transfer admissions are handled last, prioritizing students whose preferences can be satisfied. Applicants must have a total score of at least 160 points (including provincial qualifying exam scores and policy bonus points) to participate in our school’s admission process.
Handling of applicants with tied scores: If total scores are the same across categories, policy bonus points are removed, and students are ranked from high to low based on the remaining scores. If still tied, for general majors, the sum of Chinese and Mathematics scores, Mathematics, and Foreign Language scores are used sequentially from high to low. For art majors, the provincial art exam scores are used from high to low. If still tied, cultural school test scores and provincial qualifying exam scores are compared from high to low.
