LME to resume electronic trading at 5:30 PM London time

The London Metal Exchange (LME) stated that it expects to resume electronic trading at 5:30 PM London time on Monday afternoon.The LME earlier said that at approximately 3:00 PM GMT (GMT), the electronic trading market was in a state of technical suspension and was currently unavailable. Floor trading at the exchange continued to operate normally.A spokesperson said that the LME plans to resume trading on a secondary server.

The London Metal Exchange (LME) announced that electronic trading is expected to resume at 5:30 PM London time on Monday.

Earlier, the LME stated that around 3:00 PM GMT, the electronic trading platform was temporarily suspended due to technical issues and is currently unavailable. Trading within the exchange remains normal.

A spokesperson said that the LME plans to resume trading once the second set of servers is restored.
